08 / WHY I BUILT THIS
He had to find his own way out. Now he is building one young people can see.
Bobby Brown was raised in Keysville, Virginia—a small Southside community where talent can be real, ambition can be loud, and opportunity can still feel far away. Music became one of the first places he could tell the truth, make sense of pain, and imagine a life larger than what was directly in front of him.
He served six years in the Virginia Army National Guard, working in information technology and finance. Service taught him structure, responsibility, and how much people can carry without anybody seeing the full weight. But discipline did not make his path perfect. His life also includes prison, painful losses, broken seasons, rebuilding, and the hard work of becoming more than the worst chapter somebody could use to define him.
As a father of five sons, artist, songwriter, and entrepreneur, Bobby understands that young people need more than somebody telling them to stay out of trouble. They need something worth running toward. They need patient adults, usable skills, a place to belong, and proof that what is inside them can become discipline, ownership, work, and a future.
AerialMindz is the organization he wishes more young people could meet before the street, the system, or somebody else's label writes the ending for them. This is not a rescue story built around pity. It is a platform built around potential—giving young creators the tools, mentorship, room, and responsibility to build something real and see themselves differently.

Supporters receive AerialMindz’s current organizational and tax-status information before contributing. Do not claim a charitable deduction unless AerialMindz confirms eligibility in writing for that specific gift.

Founding supporters will receive launch updates built around real milestones: partnerships secured, resources prepared, cohort readiness, youth participation, completed projects, participant feedback, and the next work still ahead.
04Can a business, school, church, or community group sponsor a program?+
Yes. Partners can help fund a workshop or cohort, provide space or equipment, refer youth, supply volunteers, or build a custom partnership around a shared community goal.
05Can I support AerialMindz without giving money?+
Yes. AerialMindz needs working creatives, mentors, youth-serving partners, safe spaces, equipment, introductions, and people willing to open doors. Financial support matters, but it is not the only way to move the mission.
